A New Face

Yup, it’s still me. I just have a newer, prettier face. I was blogging over at Blogger here and switched over here -to WordPress- for a few reasons. Namely, the hubs and I decided to take this to the next level. When I started “Palm Trees and Cowgirl Boots” in August I did not anticipate refurbishing furniture for at least a year. Fortunately, that changed about a month ago when the hubs and I decided to take the plunge and do it now. And it has gone swimingly! That’s why I am here.

The blog, along with it’s name and site, has changed to reflect the focus of what I do. All Things New Interiors gives me something more marketable to work with. The name All Things New came from my hubs, and I LOVE it. Love. It is SO reflective of the work I love to do: To give things that are cast off, seen as ugly and unuseful beauty and provide a purpose.

I want to encourage others so see past a messy exterior and see the potential with some love. Some pieces need more love than others- I’ve got one like that coming up- but that doesn’t mean it can’t be beautiful!

Isn’t this so true in life? God loves us and is working in our lives despite how messy we think it is. How encouraging is that?!

I hope you’ll stick around with me through this journey. I am so excited to get to pursue this dream! Let me know what you think of the blog! I’ll try to get the old posts on here eventually.

  1. Wow, Hayley! I love your new site and name! Beauty from ashes kind of thing! I can relate! You are talented and I truly wish we were closer geographically so I could see the fruit from your labor first hand! :)
