When Old Is Better

How’s it goin’? Did you have a good weekend? We have been working on some projects around the house. Nothin’ exciting, rather utilitarian. However, we did have great weather this weekend and were able to open all the windows and enjoy the breeze. Fall is on the way. And I am excited.

Remember how I said I had been using a lot of French Linen lately? Well are you ready for another French Linen transformation?

This little end table started out looking pretty rough. We found it at a church garage sale and snagged it! I love the details, the shelf, the hardware. And I’ve got a thing for casters. It just does something to a piece. The patina of little metal “socks” and casters puts me through the roof!

This little guy is the perfect size to fit next to our sofa in the front living room. And it looks too cute. So it’s staying for now. The thing is, the sofa is also grey-ish, with blue undertones. So they are pretty similar in color. I’ll have to brighten up the room in other ways…. paint the walls, art, rug. All in due time.

For now though, this table is a great addition to the room.
