How I’m Getting Ready for the Booth

With the grand opening of the All Things New Interiors space at BrickCity Emporium just less than two weeks away, I’ve been using almost every spare moment to prepare.

One of the first things I wanted to do was to get a professional logo to keep consistent across all aspects of the business- from blog to booth.

The logo was designed by one of the graphic designers at our church and she is just phenomenal. I actually did a little design consultation work for her daughter’s room. You may have remembered it from this blog post here. Anyways, I gave her a few ideas of what I was looking for in a design as well as some inspiration from other bloggers. She came up with this logo and I was just floored.

It is absolutely perfect and better than I could even imagine. I’m so excited to start using this not only on my blog but on business cards, price tags, and on a sign in my space.

So with the new logo came a new look for the blog. I know I changed it in the last six months or so but this one I am in love with and plan on sticking with. The layout is more user-friendly to be able to see past posts and has lots of pretty photos!

Of course in anticipation of opening the booth we have been buying tons of furniture and smalls that you have been seeing if you follow me on social media. Here are some of the great finds from last weekend…

But I’ve also been thinking about how I want to stage the booth. I don’t just want pieces to be tagged for sale and look like they’re thrown together. I want this to look like a home and for people to envision how they could use a piece in their home. So, I have purchased a rug for the space…

as well as an incredible chandelier…

Seriously, the chandelier is absolutely perfect and I can’t wait to get it up. The walls of my space are currently red but we are going to paint them white so that the furniture can really stand out.

One of the managers at BrickCity told me that it’s important to stage your booth and keep it looking fresh so that buyers don’t get sick of it. Believe me, I am excited to do this! I am so happy to have another place to stage beautiful things.

I’m just so excited to be able to pursue this dream. I want my booth to be a reflection of what my own home looks like!

The final thing I am doing to get ready for the booth is finishing up the kitchen. Yes, the kitchen that was started months ago. We have made huge progress lately (cabinet doors and drawers are done) and I can’t wait to show some photos soon!

If you live in the area, I hope you are getting excited to visit my booth! If you don’t already, make sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with new finds and projects. But you will especially want to follow me because I’ll be having a giveaway the week the booth opens!
