We were so blessed to celebrate an upcoming addition to a family we love: a couple in our home group.
I planned a baby shower for their sweet girl and got crazy excited. I already showed you here the dresser I painted for them to use as a changing table.
What’s better, we were able to use it as a buffet for the shower.
Their nursery is going to be pink, gold and grey with touches of white so we headed in that direction! (I apologize for the cell phone pics!)
I made a chicken wire frame for them for the nursery by painting the frame and stapling chicken wire and burlap to the back. Then we each wrote our guesses for her birth date and weight! What a fun way to track her progress. Plus, it will be an adorable place to clip photos or bows.
We had a blast at the shower playing games, eating incredibly delicious food, and laughing a lot! These ladies are such a blessing and I love sharing all parts of life with them- from the super exciting like welcoming a baby to everyday life.
Throwing a beautiful baby shower was not only fun for me but felt so sophisticated. It is so special to design party decor around the honored guest or celebration. Baby showers are so personal and memorable. Feel free to Pin!
