Preparing for the Holidays

I know. It’s only barely November. But the Holiday Open House is this weekend at BrickCity Emporium.

And let me tell you that after thinking and planning and shopping for months, I was pretty excited to decorate.

This week the hubs and I spent a good amount of time in our space transforming it for the holidays.

Y’all. It looks amazing.

It’s FULL of unique items just waiting to beautify your home.

An antique wooden sled ($75).

Lots of silver plated servingware including three beautiful baking dishes (one chafing dish [$55] and another that PLUGS IN [$85]).

I also happened upon a beautiful set of eggshell-toned china from the late 1930s to early 1940s. It’s very mis-matched, but I love that look anyway. The classic color and design allows it to go with any other dish set. And yes, those are silver-plated chargers. :)

We have two lovely lit wreaths with gorgeous bows.

How about these re-purposed wood projects I just completed?

A rustic Christmas tree ($30)…

Or this chicken wire frame to display your holiday cards ($35)…

And of course there is lots of beautiful furniture.

If you are in the area make sure to stop by the Holiday Open House this weekend, November 7-9 at BrickCity Emporium in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I can’t wait to check out all the fantastic goodies!
