Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. We headed to Texas this past weekend to visit with family and deliver furniture to a client. I shopped several estate sales and found some great vintage items! Check out my Instagram to see it all! I wish I could keep most of it, but it’s all heading to the booth for sale! Anywho….
Once upon a time I spray painted a bunch of mismatched frames black.
It worked for the time being and was a cheap option.
But lately I wanted to brighten up the hallway. I wanted to do away with the black frames and update the photos.
Several of the black frames were on the small side, so I wanted larger frames that felt more to scale with the length of the hallway.
IKEA sells fabulous frames with mats (Ribba) for such a steal- $7! We got a bunch.
I had 8x10s printed at Sam’s (they are so cheap there!) and couldn’t wait to hang them!
I also purchased these prints from Jane.com. I love Pride and Prejudice and Jane Austen so these are perfect.
We love the new gallery! The new larger frames make such a statement in our hallway.
Sorry for the dark photos- there is no natural lighting in here. I still have work to do on the hallway- old thermostat to remove, trim to paint, better lighting, and a new wall color. Maybe even wainscoting! Then I can get some great photos!
But for the meantime until the flooring is done, our new gallery is brightening things up!
