Bench in Pure White Chalk Paint

I almost squealed when I saw this adorable bench at a sale recently.

Carved wood and burlap, yes please!
The wood was pretty scraped up so I knew it needed some paint and would be pretty again!

I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Pure White for this bench. I love the bright white!
Two coats later the bench was ready for some distressing to accent the curves and give contrast with the dark wood.

How lovely is it?!

IMG_1773What a great versatile piece! I styled it in the dining room as extra seating (which we used for a week or so before it went to the booth!) but can envision it on a covered front porch, in an entryway, or at the foot of the bed.
What a great piece! What do you think of it?

It’s for sale in the booth for $130
